Danida’s Annual Report 2004
In Danida’s Annual Report 2004 you can read about Danida’s development assistance efforts and its outcomes. The Annual Report is built up around the government’s development policy priorities for 2004, which were established with A World of Difference. This includes five priority areas: 1) human rights, democratisation and good governance, 2) stability, security and the fight against terrorism, 3) refugees, emergency aid and regions of origin, 4) the environment, 5) social and economic development. In articles, tables and figures, the Annual Report shows the way in which Danish development assistance works with the five areas. You can also read about the concrete activities and about targets and outcomes. In 2004 Denmark’s total development assistance amounted to approximately DKK 10.5 billion. Danida’s Annual Report is divided into two sections: International development cooperation: Danish development cooperation in a global perspective. Danish development cooperation: The concrete bilateral and multilateral development assistance efforts in 2004, including, for example, an account of the development in Denmark’s programme countries.
