The Bangladesh Case Study is one of three undertaken as part of the Joint Evaluation on CSO Engagement in Policy Dialogue, the others being Mozambique and Uganda.
The Evaluation Team would like to thank the many people in Bangladesh and the Staff of the agencies of the Development Partner countries in particular Denmark, Austria and Sweden, who have steered this study throughout, for their important and valued contributions. We have benefitted greatly from the generous, open views of the civil society community, government agencies, Parliamentarians and local government representatives. In particular we would like to thank all the community members who interacted during the field work stages and will probably not see this report or learn of its impact. We hope, however, that the work of all those involved will contribute in one way or another to enhanced CSO effectiveness and in turn to better policies and improved livelihood outcomes, in tune with the needs of ordinary people.
